Team TBO ProStaff Matt Watson
Here's a little Bio of myself.

My name is Matt Watson.  I'm 35 years old.  I am married to
Melinda,  an  ER nurse, and one of the best cowboys I
know!  We have two children;  Harlee 3,  and Wyatt 15
months old.  They keep me pretty busy. I am a full time
EMT. for Fleming County EMS,  where I am shift supervisor.

I have an AS degree in animal science from Butler Co.
Community College in El Dorado, KS. where I was on the
National Chapter livestock judging team, for ten years.
Added to TBO ProStaff December 2009
I was in the livestock feed business as sales rep.
Later as sales manager for dealers in KY, OH, and
IN. After 10 yrs, 12 bosses, and two buy outs, I
decided it was time for a change; that was when I
decided to go to EMT school.

As for my hunting experiences?   When I was 6
years old, I was given a Red Ryder BB Gun. With it,
I began hunting birds on my families 500 hundred
acre farm.
When I turned 8, I moved on to rabbits, my dad took
me the first time, and after that I was on my own.
(my family was not hunters, but I was hooked!)
At the age of 16, I began to target larger game, I called my first coyote in with a Johnny Stewart cassette
tape player, and a 50 year old .22lr. Rifle.

I now hunt predators most of the time. I do take time off to hunt turkeys in spring and do just a little deer
hunting in the fall.  I have hunted predators in KY,OK, KS, IN, OH, and now Florida. I am looking forward to
hunting in Wyoming with my wife's family, and Texas with family friends.

In my free time; I help my dad with our farm, and show cattle in my down time.
At work; I braid lanyards and other hunting accessories.
